7-Year Commerce Partnership for Industrial Cleaning Supply

Client: Delux Cleaning Supply / PowerWash.com

February 13, 2026

About the Client

PowerWash.com is the e-commerce arm of Delux Cleaning Supply, serving the industrial and commercial cleaning market. Their customers range from pressure washing contractors to facility maintenance teams — buyers who know their products, order in volume, and expect a no-nonsense purchasing experience.

The Challenge

When Creatuity first engaged with Delux in 2013, e-commerce in the industrial supply space was still catching up to consumer retail. The challenge wasn’t just building a store — it was building one that fit the way B2B buyers actually purchase: repeat orders, bulk pricing, account-based relationships, and technical product specs that matter more than lifestyle photography.

Over seven years, the challenge evolved. Magento 1 needed to become Magento 2. The product catalog grew. Customer expectations shifted toward faster self-service. Each phase required the commerce platform to keep pace without forcing the business to start over.

Our Approach

Creatuity has supported PowerWash.com across three major phases:

  • Original Magento build (2013) — Established the initial commerce platform with B2B catalog structure, account management, and an ordering flow designed for repeat commercial buyers
  • Magento 2 migration — Migrated the entire storefront and catalog from M1 to M2, preserving customer accounts, order history, and SEO equity accumulated over years of operation
  • Ongoing managed services — Continuous platform support, performance optimization, and incremental feature development as the business and its customers’ needs evolve

The Impact

Seven years of continuous partnership means the platform reflects deep accumulated knowledge about the business — not just the code, but the customer behavior patterns, seasonal demand shifts, and operational workflows that inform every technical decision.

The M2 migration preserved that institutional knowledge while modernizing the foundation. And ongoing managed services mean the platform keeps improving incrementally rather than stagnating between major replatforming projects.

Why It Matters

Long-term partnerships produce better commerce platforms than project-based engagements. When your technology partner understands your business deeply enough to anticipate needs rather than just respond to tickets, the compounding effect on platform quality and operational efficiency is significant. Seven years of that compounds into a meaningful competitive advantage.
