LoopBreaker Privacy Policy

Summary

LoopBreaker is designed to be private by default. The app is local-first, does not require an account, and does not send your entries to Creatuity servers.

  • Your loop entries, reset scripts, values actions, and preferences stay on your device.
  • We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, ad trackers, or advertising networks.
  • We do not sell personal information.
  • Optional Apple platform features are handled through Apple frameworks, not our servers.

Data Stored On Your Device

LoopBreaker stores the following data locally on your iPhone using Apple-provided storage APIs:

  • Loop entries and partial drafts
  • Reset scripts, real-self anchors, and values actions
  • Weekly digest summaries and app preferences
  • Optional export text you choose to generate
  • Optional Apple Watch quick-note items while they are waiting to sync to your iPhone

This data is not synced to a Creatuity-operated cloud service by default.

Apple Services Used

LoopBreaker uses Apple platform services for specific optional features:

  • StoreKit for purchases, subscriptions, and restore purchases
  • WidgetKit and App Intents for widgets and shortcuts
  • WatchConnectivity for local communication between Apple Watch and iPhone
  • LocalAuthentication if you enable app lock
  • UserNotifications if you enable reminders
  • HealthKit if you explicitly grant read access for optional stress-cue features
  • Foundation Models / Apple Intelligence for optional on-device structuring and summarization features on supported devices

When you use these features, related processing is handled through Apple frameworks and subject to Apple's policies.

Health Data

If you enable optional HealthKit features, LoopBreaker requests read-only access to limited health signals used for conservative, non-diagnostic stress cues. LoopBreaker is not a medical device, does not diagnose OCD episodes, and does not use Health data for advertising or tracking.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not require your name, email address, or an account to use LoopBreaker.
  • We do not collect loop-entry content on our servers.
  • We do not collect usage analytics or behavioral tracking data through third-party SDKs.
  • We do not use advertising identifiers to track you across apps or websites.
  • We do not sell personal information.

Purchases

Premium purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. Creatuity does not receive your full payment-card details. We only receive purchase-status information necessary to unlock premium features through Apple's StoreKit framework.

Notifications and Exports

If you enable reminders, notification scheduling is handled locally on your device. If you choose to export content, the exported file or text is created locally and only leaves your device if you explicitly share it.

Children's Privacy

LoopBreaker is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Because the app does not require an account and does not collect personal information on our servers, our direct data collection is limited.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because LoopBreaker stores data locally on your device, you can delete app data by using the in-app delete controls or by deleting the app from your device.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
